The Carlton Hotel, St. Moritz 

Constructed in 1913 and still maintaining its Edwardian grandeur, the Carlton Hotel will transport you back to a more opulent age, while still keeping you firmly in the lap of 21st-century luxury. Think bespoke antique furnishings, silk-lined walls, and gloriously plush beds. The hotel offers a trio of enviable restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Da Vittorio. Take it from me,it’s quite the gastronomic treat. 

The Kulm Hotel, St. Moritz 

Continuing our love affair with St. Moritz, The Kulm Hotel represents the birthplace of winter tourism. Cultivating this spirit of adventure, the hotel offers five different restaurants, a sizeable wellness spa, and direct access to the Cresta Run. Not to brag on their behalf, but their hospitality was so good, it made me want to quit my job and become a permanent tourist.

The Dolder Grand, Zurich 

Rounding off our tour of Alpine extravagance, we take a detour to the Dolder Grand in Zurich. Nestled in scenic hills, the view here is captivating. It toes the line between modern and classic, offering two restaurants under the guidance of renowned chef Heiko Nieder. And for you art enthusiasts out there, guess what? It houses its own strikingly curated collection of over 124 artworks. Talk about a feast for the eyes and the belly!
