Ibiza has a rhythm all its own. Sun blazing overhead, parties pumping into the night, and moments in between that make you pause and just breathe. For our 72 hours, we stayed at Ryans Lolas, an adults-only hotel in San Antonio Bay that somehow nails both vibes. Fun and relaxed, colourful but perfectly appointed.
The first thing that hits you? The pool. Bright, bold, ridiculously photogenic, with yellow and green loungers, hammocks and cabanas. You want to sink in, cocktail in hand, and just watch the island roll by. The staff make it easy to feel at home. They couldn’t do enough for us, offering tips, answering questions, and smoothing out every little detail.

From the start, Ryans Lolas gave us everything we wanted and more. Modern, fun, colourful, yet neatly designed in all the right places. It’s the kind of spot where you can lounge all day, party all night or just enjoy your room as a little home base.
Food is part of the fun too. 666 Smash Burger, the hotel’s American diner-style restaurant, is buzzing and casual. Chicken tenders are a must. Crispy outside, juicy inside, with three surprise sauces that make you grin with every bite. Burgers, fries, the diner classics. You’ll leave fuelled and happy, ready to explore.
The studio rooms are equally impressive. Small kitchen, super comfy bed, balcony overlooking San Antonio Bay, and fast Wi-Fi. And the Marshall Bluetooth speaker? Game changer. Crank your favourite tunes while getting ready for a night out or chilling with a drink at sunset. It just lifts the whole vibe.
Day two calls for a trip to Ibiza Town. Thirty minutes by cab or 45 by bus and you’re in a maze of cobbled streets, independent boutiques, and cafés that make you linger. La Bodega Eivissa is a must for tapas. Small plates packed with flavour and a relaxed atmosphere that feels authentically Ibiza. Wander, shop, snack, repeat.
Evenings in Ibiza are something else entirely. Pikes is still legendary. Freddie Mercury partied here and the energy is tangible. They run free nightly club events so you can soak it up without spending a fortune. For a more chilled sunset, head to Kumharas in San Antonio Bay. Drinks are excellent, food trucks serve casual bites, and live music often drifts across the terrace. Grab a cocktail, watch the sun sink into the water, and let the island vibes do their thing.

Night three is about nightlife at its full throttle. [UNVRS], the world’s largest nightclub, is just 15 minutes by cab. DJs that crush it, production that leaves you speechless, and a sense of scale you can’t quite believe until you see it. Don’t forget to seek out the smaller rooms – the Wild Comet was our favourite! If a full-on club isn’t your thing, Ryans Lolas pool terrace has your back. Cocktail in hand, tunes in the background, and the sun disappearing behind San Antonio Bay. Chill or party. It’s up to you.
After 72 hours, Ryans Lolas feels like more than a hotel. It’s a base for the island, a spot to unwind, and a launchpad into Ibiza’s parties, culture, and sun-soaked streets. Colourful pool, diner eats that hit, smartly designed studios, and easy access to everything from Pikes to UNVRS. Three days here, no compromises. Chill, explore, party, or all three. Ryans Lolas just works.
