A Body Spray for Down There? Lynx Says It’s About Time

Let’s face it, when it comes to personal grooming, most guys stick to the basics: a solid shower, a decent deodorant, and a splash of fragrance. But Lynx just flipped the script and asked the question we’ve all awkwardly dodged: “Do you spray down there?”

And no, they’re not joking.

To launch their new Lynx Lower Body Spray, the brand took over Boxpark Shoreditch with a giant pair of scented boxer shorts (as you do) and a ball pit that had Londoners literally diving into the debate. With Pete Wicks fronting the campaign, backed by Chloe Burrows and Joe Weller, the event had one mission: to get men talking about an area of grooming that’s been long overlooked.

The product? A genuinely useful and (finally) safe spray designed for the lower body, below the belt, specifically. It’s alcohol-free, dermatologist-tested, and offers up to 72 hours of odour protection where it counts. Whether you’re team Coconut & Sandalwood or Pear & Cedarwood, Lynx is making it OK, and even kind of cool, to care about how you smell all over.

And apparently, it’s about time. Lynx surveyed 2,000 UK men and found that a massive 98% want their lower body to smell as fresh as the rest of them. But without proper products on the market, some guys have resorted to… creative (read: questionable) alternatives – think air freshener, apple cider vinegar, and even heat rub. Yeah, ouch.

But this isn’t just about fragrance. It’s a shift in how men think about grooming. Younger generations, especially Millennials and Gen Z, are leading the way in taking better care of themselves and opening up conversations around it. Half are even swapping tips with their mates.

Lynx has clocked this cultural shift and jumped in with a product that’s fun, useful, and kind of overdue. Whether you’re a gym regular, a festival weekender, or just someone who wants to feel fresher for longer, this is one to try.

You wouldn’t skip moisturiser or decent shampoo, so why stop short with your body care?
