Trainer collaborations are big news these days with an almost weekly drop of a new limited style by the big boys. This month it is the turn of Diadora who have teamed up with AFew for a special collaboration that will see their iconic V7000 trainer re-imagined.
If you are a sneakerhead (I count myself as one) then you will know that snapping up the freshest new kicks has become a bit of an addiction. The concept behind the Diadora x AFew collaboration has tapped into this and will see both of the new styles come in medication type blister packaging and include medical style warnings. Diadora hope that this new drop will numb the pain for sneakerheads until the next collection launches.
If you fancy grabbing the a pair of the light coloured ‘Highly Addictive’ or ultra luxe ‘The Cure’ V7000 for yourself then I’m afraid that you will need to be EXTREMELY lucky. Both designs are limited in numbers but ‘The Cure’ will only be available to 50 ‘patients’ from BeamsT at their Harajuku store in Tokyo on 15th April.
The Diadora x AFew ‘Highly Addictive’ releases globally on April 22nd but the price has yet to be revealed. I’m guessing that they won’t be cheap though so get counting your pennies (and pounds).
