If you’re still sipping from a throwaway plastic bottle in 2025, it might be time for a rethink. Aquaphor – already known for their solid water filter tech—have just launched CITY COOL, a stainless steel bottle designed for city living.
The concept’s simple: a reusable bottle that filters out chlorine, heavy metals, microplastics and other stuff you don’t want to drink, while keeping your water cold for 24 hours. It’s compact, leak-proof, and built with a non-slip silicone grip – ideal for your bag, your bike, or your gym locker.
What stands out most is the filter. It’s made using activated carbon from coconut husks, and each one replaces up to 300 single-use bottles. It also preserves the minerals that actually make water taste decent – a detail that’s usually overlooked.
CITY COOL comes in a range of limited-edition colours—Sky Blue, Mineral Red, Rose Pink, Carbon Black and Fresh Teal—so there’s a bit of style in the mix too. It’s already been picked up by the likes of Segun Shodipo and Karina Patel, and even made an appearance on Dr. Alex George’s Stompcast.
As part of the launch, Aquaphor are also rolling out a filter recycling scheme across the UK with ReFactory, giving used filters a second life as household items (yes, including bins).
All in, it’s a decent upgrade if you’re after a water bottle that does more than just look the part. Consider this one a small but smart switch-up for summer.
