Silly character slippers are thankfully a thing of the past. Nowadays we want functional, stylish house shoes that look good while they keep our feet warm. Bedroom Athletics have been created on exactly that vein with attention to form, fit and look their collection focuses on a product that wears beautifully and stays comfy for ages.
The menswear range from Bedroom Athletics is pretty expansive and even includes a collaboration with stylish Scottish weavers Harris Tweed. Central to the AW14 range however is the classic Gable cow suede mule which comes in 4 muted colours – I recently put a pair of these to the test.
As I opened the box the first thing I noticed about the grey mule slippers was the attention to detail. The stitching and finish looked perfect and the small Bedroom Athletics logo plate embellished each slipper as a mark of quality. They are lightweight and very warm and comfortable to wear. The textured non-slip sole ensures that you stay upright even on those slippy wooden floors.
Priced at £40 they may seem a little on the expensive side for slippers but with grade A sheepskin lining and double-faced shearling it is an investment worth making.
Get them on your Christmas list lads!
