Wrangler undoubtedly is one of those iconic American brands that everyone just knows. It’s unlikely that many of have got to the age we are without once owning or lusting after a pair of their jeans or one of the denim jackets.
For AW18, Wrangler have delved into their archives and picked out their best bits from the seventies and eighties and brought them up to date. The focus (of course) is on denim but in an oversized experimental fit, expect lots of layering and double denim (never a bad thing as far as I’m concerned) and utility wear too.
Like most other brands at the most, Wrangler have embraced the retro sportswear trend and have included updated ringer tees and colour blocked sweatshirts. If you’re into heritage denim brands, then here really is plenty to wet your whistle.
The men’s collection picks up on Wranglers Western influence. Sherpa jackets in denim or cord are teamed with jeans and check shirts. As for the denim collection, the favourite fits such as the modern straight leg Greensboro and slim Larston remain a key part.
In a nod to heritage, immersed in the expansive landscapes of North Carolina, Wrangler creates a dynamic collection that feels authentic, and continues to drive the brand forward.
