Like the deconstructed and grungy style of AllSaints but fancy wearing something a little different from the masses? Well, I have the perfect label for you, Bolongaro Trevor is the brainchild of British designers Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor who founded the AllSaints group.
Bolongaro Trevor has actually been around since 2006, however, they have maintained a slightly more grown-up British brand. The product is crisp and neat but at the same time, the worn-in and classic feel has not been lost. Throughout their collection a strong military influence can be seen, details like epaulettes and fireman hooks feature readily.
The designers have created a label that they feel offers great “must-have pieces” and I definitely agree with that statement. “We want to recreate that feeling we had when we were kids – walking in a shop with thirty quid, maybe a hundred quid to spend, and finding that ‘got to have it’ moment.”
Now for the best bit…BrandAlley has managed to secure some of the best pieces from the Bolongaro Trevor collection for their latest private sale. I have once again had a preview look and have selected some of my star buys from the range…
The Napoleon hoody is the stand out item for me. It takes inspiration from the Napoleon naval uniform and features Herringbone tape on the front in the style of traditional frogging.
As Bolongaro Trevor take inspiration for their collections from history and not current trends the items are instant classics, not one season wonders – great investment items!
