If you own a TV then you will already have heard this song. ‘Best Day of My Life’ from American Authors has featured on the recent advertising campaign for the Hyundai i30. With this in mind the track is pretty much guaranteed to be a hit when it is released in the UK later this month.
The band hail from Brooklyn and take inspiration from the likes if Weezer and Coldplay and aim to create a blend of uplifting popular rock music. Soon to follow the release of this single will be the bands self titled first album. Will they be able to shake off the one hit wonder tag though? Well that remains to be seen.
