I really can’t believe that we are just a few weeks away from December, how on earth did that happen? I’m determined that this year I’m going to smash out my Christmas shopping nice and early so that I can enjoy the pre-Christmas social events stress-free.
Braehead shopping centre near Glasgow is a great place to get a head start on things as they have welcomed a flurry of new stores in the past couple of months. Braehead is also open late and has plenty of free parking!
I headed along last week to see for myself what was new at Braehead and I was delighted to see bumper-sized new Flannels and re-located H&M as well as new stores Lids and Suit Direct. The new Flannels store is now on the ground floor near M&S and is packed full of autumn and winter styles from labels like Off White and Kenzo for men and women. I added more than a few items to my own personal wish list.
Lids is a store that I always visit whenever I am in America so it’s ace to see that they have opened near Glasgow. They stock caps (hence the name) and also team wear from the leading American sports teams. They also have a great customization service where you can personalise items – perfect for Christmas or gifts.
As well as being home to over 100 top stores, there are great places to eat and drink at Braehead too so it’s a great place for a family day out.
