Royal Mail Delivers the British Auto Legends Collection

When I think of stamps first thing that crops to mind are dear old Lizzie’s head but it’s time for a change of scenery.  Royal Mail has really outdone themselves and captured some beautiful British Auto Legends in a new collection of stamps which they have released as part of a special set.

The British Auto Legends set includes the cream of British motoring history and some of the iconic vehicles in classic car design which have been sold the world over.  The collection includes the Jaguar E-type, Rolls Royce Silver Shadow and Aston Martin DB as well as the Morris Minor Van.

My personal favourite from the collection is the spicy orange 1976 Lotus Esprit (shown above).  They really don’t make them like they used to, these old beasts just ooze class.
