The Carven menswear line has brought us some impeccable style since its inception in 2011. Well cut trousers, coats and sweatshirts are now key the labels menswear collection. With this in mind I would not have expected anything less from designer Thierry de Bashmakoff to house the brand new signature men’s scent ‘Carven Pour Homme’ than this sleek black glass bottle.
So it is obvious that I love the bottle but what about the most important factor. How does it smell? Well honestly I really like the initial burst you get which is full of violet leaves with a fruity freshness. As it settles however it does fade a little into the background ans is maybe lacking in the standout draw that we instantly recognise with many of the big hitters. It works well as an evening scent.
Carven Pour Homme has just launched in exclusively in Selfridges and will be available nationwide from the 5th of May.
