City Stories with Point A Hotels ‘Glasgow Bar Guide’

Hopefully you caught the first episode of City Stories last month where I took you on a tour of some of my favourite shops in Glasgow? This time I’m on a bit of a bar crawl as I show you around a few of my favourite places to grab a drink in my home city.

Glasgow is awash with great pubs and bars but I have racked my brains and selected 3 stand out places that I think you would love and should definitely look up on your next visit.  There’s a fairly traditional pub with a great beer selection to somewhere that offers great cocktails in a cool setting.

City Stories is a series of short city guide videos that I have made in conjunction with Point A Hotels to celebrate the opening of their first ever hotel in Glasgow.  It’s located (like all their hotels) in a great central location on Bath Street so provides the perfect base for any trip to Glasgow.  I’ve been in for a peek round the hotel already and can conform that it offers everything I look for when I’m on a city break – a comfy bed, a decent shower and fast free WiFi.

Win a VIP Point A Hotels Experience

To celebrate the launch of their new hotels in Glasgow and Shoreditch, Point A are giving away two VIP experiences for two people, plus three cash prizes of £500 each.  The lucky winners will get to stay in one of the centrally located hotels and experience the best that each of the neighbourhoods has to offer.

To enter just head over to the Point A Hotels website and explain (in less that 250 words) where your dream point b would be and what you want to leave ready for.

You don’t have long to get entered as the competition closes on the 20th of March.  Good luck!

I’ve worked with Point A Hotels on this campaign but all of the tips, opinions and views contained in the article and the video as always are my own.
