Common People Menswear

Do you share a common interest in premium clothing and footwear?  Common People are all about just that as they champion premium quality, craftsmanship and local sourcing.  The label was created by Kestin Hare, who was the former head of design at Nigel Cabourn.  The aim is simply to create a contemporary product that maintains a purist identity.

I really love the mix of bright pop colours and clean cut designs that is recurrent throughout the entire collection, a real strong look for summertime.  If you like the look of the Common People style then I have some great news for you!  This Wednesday BrandAlley (the website that offers private sales on top designer labels) will be launching a Common People menswear selection on their website.  I have been lucky enough to have had a sneak preview of the sale and have selected my standout item.

When buying signature pieces from established makers I like to find pieces that are highly wearable and versatile.  This item is both of those.

No it’s not a game of spot the difference this is actually the same white cotton short with detachable collar.  Can you think of a quicker way to upgrade or downgrade your look depending on the engagement.  Heading for post work drinks simply remove the collar for a more relaxed but still smart effect.

Aside from the shirt the selection of Common People clothing coming this week to BrandAlley includes unconstructed blazers and chino shorts for the perfect spring/summer transitional look.  Remember to head across on Wednesday to get the first dibs on the picks of the sale!
