CUPRA skipped the showroom and went straight to the streets for the RAVAL’s debut, turning Manchester into a live backdrop built around music and culture rather than a traditional reveal.
Led by Chase & Status and Lancey Foux, the launch unfolded as a city-scale takeover. At Projekts Skatepark, Lancey opened with a set that placed the RAVAL directly into the performance, avoiding the usual staged introduction.
Chase & Status followed, pushing the space into open-air rave territory and performing Homework live with Lancey Foux. The energy mirrored their recent underground shows more than a branded event, keeping things raw and stripped back.
The Manchester stop formed part of a wider European rollout, but here it felt more grounded in the city’s own scene than a travelling production. That continued into the after-hours at CUPRA City Garage Manchester, where the duo linked with Skream for a late set that carried the same intensity.
The RAVAL itself stayed in the background. A fully electric urban performance car built in Barcelona, offering up to 450km of range, it is clearly aimed at the next wave of city driving. But the strategy here was less about specs and more about placement.
It felt less like a launch and more like a moment. The RAVAL was present throughout, but never pushed to the front.
The RAVAL arrives in UK showrooms in September 2026.
