David Guetta has reclaimed the title of the world’s No.1 DJ as DJ Mag unveiled its 2025 Top 100 at [UNVRS] Ibiza. Fourteen years on from his first win, the French superstar joins Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren as only the third DJ in history to take the crown five times.
More than four decades into his career, Guetta shows no sign of slowing down. He has dropped over a single a month this year, spanning trap, hip hop, house and big-room sounds, while collaborating with names like Afrojack, Fatboy Slim, Martin Garrix, Sia and Nicky Romero. His experimental streak has stretched to the stage too with his new [UNVRS] residency Galactic Circus, alongside a global run of The Monolith, a colossal touring show that has already hit Saudi Arabia’s AlUla and Paris’ Stade de France.
The Ibiza awards show marked the first time the title has been announced live on the island. Alongside Guetta’s headline set, the night featured performances from Armin van Buuren, Miss Monique, Boris Brejcha, Indira Paganotto and Jazzy. Other big winners included Michael Bibi as Highest New Entry, Sara Landry as the world’s leading Hard DJ, Charlotte de Witte for Techno and FISHER for House.
DJ Mag also used the global platform to raise over £149,000 for Bridges for Music, funding the education of 134 young students in South Africa through its academy programme.
Full results are now live at DJ Mag.
