Homobloc, the iconic LGBTQ+ block party, is set to return to Depot Mayfield in Manchester on Saturday, 9th November, with a vibrant celebration of unity and inclusivity. This year’s edition promises to be bigger and better, featuring a dynamic line-up of artists, DJs, and performers who embody the spirit of queer culture and creativity.
Leading the charge is the critically acclaimed Christine and the Queens, alongside hyperpop sensation Shygirl and the genre-defying COBRAH, making her Manchester debut. The event will also showcase a series of special back-to-back DJ sets, including Job Jobse b2b Saoirse and 2manydjs b2b Confidence Man DJs, ensuring an eclectic musical experience.
Homobloc isn’t just about the music; it’s a full-spectrum celebration of queer art, with performances curated by collectives like Ghetto Fabulous and Make Me Feel. This year introduces a new stage dedicated to emerging LGBTQ+ artists from the global underground scene, making it a must-attend event for anyone looking to experience the cutting edge of queer culture.
Tickets are available at homobloc.co.uk, with pre-sale starting on Thursday, 15th August, and general sale on Friday, 16th August. Don’t miss out on what promises to be a night of unforgettable performances and pure, unfiltered queer joy.
