‘House 99’ Skincare & Grooming by David Beckham x Loreal

If ever was there was a man who I’d happily take grooming advice from, it is most definitely David Beckham, so when I heard he was teaming up with Loreal to create a new range of products I was really keen to try them out.  ‘House 99’ offers a complete collection of 21 grooming and skincare products that has been created to meet the style needs of every man.

The new House 99 range officially launches tomorrow in the UK but I managed t get my hands on a few samples last week so have been able to try out a few of the new products.  There is everything from a face wash, beard oil and moisturiser to a tattoo balm, hair scrub and eye balm.  Your every need really is covered.

The aesthetic of House 99 is very much to my liking too.  The products are packaged in clean clean black and white containers with simple branding.  I know it shouldn’t be all that important when selecting skincare products, but these will look damn good on your bathroom shelf.

The first thing that I noticed about the collection was the scent, and I have to admit I was a little disappointed.  I don’t know what I had been expecting but this reminded me a little of the scent of the Loreal Men Expert range and I had been expecting something a little more unique.  I’d just hoped for something more standout.

The first product that I tried from the House 99 range was the .  It was just the sort of wash I like, not too foamy but not too weak. t left my face feeling clean and fresh which is of course the aim.  I followed it up with the which I was pleased to see also includes SPF20 (something that you should really ensure your moisturiser has).  It’s lightweight so I noticed that a little goes a long way.  My skin seemed to absorb it well and the finish was nice and matt, I didn’t look shiny or greasy at all.  Winner!

My hero product (from the selection I have tried so far) is the .  It states on the packaging that it gives your eye area a brighter look with an application in the morning and evening.  It seemed to do that for me and I really liked the cooling effect it had on the area around my eye after I put it on too.

I always find with skincare you need to give the products a few weeks to get a good idea of their worth so I’ll keep going with them but but so far so good.  I’ll keep you updated over on my social channels.

House 99 is available exclusively at in the UK and Ireland.
