Introducing Aladin, the new app that allows you to control your sofa from your phone

Smartphone apps are now an integral part of our daily lives.  We already use them to check in on our bank accounts, keep in touch with friends and play games but how about controlling our sofas?  The brand new Aladin app by ROM will take the term ‘smart home’ to a whole new level by allowing you to control your sofa positions with a simple touch of a button.

To get started you of course need to have a sofa from the ROM Premium2 range which is a great investment in its own right as each of their sofas is custom-made for you and is designed to fit perfectly into your space.  Once you have your ROM sofa in position, wifi connection and an apple of android device then you are ready to get started. The Aladin app which uses the latest technology to store your favourite pre-set positions per seat in the sofa, meaning no matter which member of the family is using the sofa they can relax in comfort with just the touch of a button!

As if that wasn’t already easy enough, once you have preset your (up to 5) favourite positions per seat you can adjust the seat accordingly using the discreetly hidden button controls on the side of the sofa itself.

If you think that a ROM sofa would be a welcome addition to your home then you are quite possibly in with a chance of winning one as there is currently a ROM sofa worth over £4000 and a smart home package worth over £1500 up for grabs over on the ROM website.  Enter the draw here!
