My annual Ibiza trip may have been called off this year but that doesn’t mean that I’m not already looking ahead to my next visit to the White Island, whenever that may be.
Ibiza is an island of many guises. It’s home to some of the most famous clubbing venues, luxurious hotels, top restaurant and stunning landscapes in the world. One thing that I’ve noticed in the past few years though, is a burst of cool new, boutique hotel’s opening their doors.
New to Ibiza this year is Romeo’s Motel & Diner, a property which pays homage to those retro American roadside motels of the ’50s.
Romeo’s is located in San Antonio Bay, Ibiza a short walk from the sea just a hop along the coast from the famous party town.
Red is the colour at Romeo’s and adorns the spectacular pool, lobby and bedrooms as well as the vintage-inspired Mandy’s Diner. There’s even a wedding chapel, where you can partake in both real and fictitious wedding ceremonies – just don’t get the two mixed up!
The well-appointed rooms and suites have been baptized in honour of a stop on the legendary Route 66, such as Las Vegas or Tucumcari.
I can imagine the stream of Instagram posts hotting my feed already. Sign me up!
