The legendary Johnnie Walker Red Label Whisky has a new partner. A big, bold whiskey brand such as Johnnie Walker demanded a mixer to match its stature. The perfect accompaniment is in fact Ginger. Ginger is the ideal combination although just what kind of ginger you use will depend on your own personal tastes and the side of the whisky you want to extenuate.
Last month Johnnie Walker threw out a Masterclass challenge to wannabe mixologist to create their own signature #johnnieandginger flavour. The winner Bill Hussein was chosen by London flavour experts Bompas & Parr and Ross Purnell (the Johnnie Walker London ambassador).
