The London Bridge Hotel

Nestled between two iconic land marks, the historical London Bridge and the newly completed Shard, is the London Bridge Hotel.  The 4 star boutique London Bridge hotel, which is conveniently located 2 minutes from the nearest underground station, underwent a major refurb recently in order to provide its guests with a more comfortable and welcoming experience.

There are a variety of rooms available at the hotel, each packed with added extras that make the stay that little bit more pleasant.  Obviously each room is different but we had one located towards the rear of the hotel.  This meant it was quiet and we were lucky enough to get some cracking views of the city.

If you’re not planning on rushing out the next day, then I would recommend booking yourself in for the breakfast.  You’ll not be disappointed and you’ll be set for the day!  If you’re one of our more active readers, then you can take yourself to the Fitness First health club and make the most of the complimentary access available to guests.

Attached to the hotel is the Quarter Bar & Lounge.  I’m not normally a huge fan of bars associated with hotels as I feel they can lack an atmosphere.  This was certainly not the case!  With a classic selection of cocktails and an extremely appetising menu, It was apparent that The Quarter bar is hugely popular with those familiar with the area.  There was a very relaxed vibe and some interesting music playlists playing in the background.

If you’re unsure of where to stay but know you want to be close to the City of London, then certainly consider The London Bridge Hotel.
