The Solitude Black Gold Watch by Lord Timepieces

Lord Timepieces are a pretty new brand on my radar but when they got in touch recently to introduce me to their collection I was quite impressed with what I saw.

Pictures can only tell a part of any story though, so they offered to send me over one of their timepieces to take a bit of a closer look at. I opted for their Solitude Black Gold model as I loved both the simplicity and flair of it too.

When I received this watch for my Lord Timepieces Review I loved the contrast of the black strap and the 42mm analog face against the gold hands and indices. It’s really quite striking and would look great styled with a formal look (I’m thinking a crisp white shirt) or with a more casual jeans and t-shirt look.

Priced at £79 this is a great watch for everyday wear. It’s, of course, an investment but one that you can wear to work or for travel without having to overly stress about damaging it or keeping it safe, and for someone as clumsy as me, that is a good thing.

The Solitude by Lord Timepieces also features a smaller sub-dial too which adds a further element of sophistication to their watch.

There has been a marked rise in the past 5 years in new watch brands but one thing that I’ve noticed is that most of them follow a very similar and minimalistic aesthetic. The same cannot be said of the Lord Timepieces collection as their range for both men and women features an eclectic mix of styles.
