Luxury Classic Is A Look You Would Do Well To Master

When you’re trying to dress with some class, how do you do it? Finding the right suit is all well and good, but there are plenty of times that a suit simply isn’t going to cut it. When you need a more casual look, you can still make sure that you’re representing yourself in the best light by blending in a little luxury. Here, we’re going to look at how you can marry these two elements together.

Blending casual with smart

If you’re not entirely comfortable with switching to a completely casual dress code or you think that it might undermine the image that you’re trying to craft, then that’s okay. A lot of modern men adopt the smart casual style for the vast majority of the time that they’re out. It allows for a little more fluidity, maintaining a degree of class while still not going straight into the jacket-and-tie territory. Learn more about the smart casual rules that you can apply to your own dress code, such as opting for more open shirt types like the Oxford, or shoes like suede Derbies.

Invest in your staples

What are the staples of a casual outfit? For a lot of guys, it’s going to be the shirt, the jeans, and perhaps a sweater or jacket. You might not want to stray too far away from these, but you can make sure that you’re at least wearing them with quality. To that end, you can look to the luxury end of the market, like with a pair of Dolce & Gabbana jeans. That way, you’re sticking within the casual dress code and not likely to stand out, but those with attention to detail are going to notice what stands out about you.

Accessorize with care

Accessories can do a lot of heavy lifting when it comes to signifying status or even your care for how you present yourself. A good watch is going to look good on your wrist regardless of what you’re wearing, and the shoes that you wear can be just as important. Accessorise with care, allowing yourself to use your accessories to communicate for you, even when you’re dressed in a more casual sense. Of course, you want to make sure that you don’t choose accessory styles that are too formal, as well.

Show attention to how you style it

Casual outfits are supposed to display a certain effortlessness, so you don’t want your look to be too composed, or too put together. However, you can take a few styling steps to personalise your look so that you cut a more impressive figure without having to get too formal about it. You can do this with slightly bolder or more luxurious colours and fabrics, be it in your belt, watch strap, socks, or otherwise, with cashmere or silk to contrast the more hard-wearing elements of the outfit.

With the tips above, you can settle into more casual settings while still making sure you look every bit like the man you want to present yourself as.
