Ministry of Sound has reunited with Alpha Industries and artist Chemical X to bring back one of the London club’s most recognisable pieces of history.
Originally commissioned in 1991 for the club’s doormen, the MA-1 bomber jackets were never available to buy, making them a sought-after part of Ministry’s early identity.
Now, the three have reunited to revisit the design with just 35 hand-numbered and signed jackets, featuring bespoke embroidery by Chemical X. Each piece retails for £275, exclusively at Dover Street Market during Frieze Week.
The release coincides with Ministry of Sound (Anthology), a new book documenting the club’s first 35 years, alongside archive-inspired T-shirts designed by the book’s author and creative director, Simon Moore.
The Ministry of Sound x Alpha Industries bomber jacket is available exclusively at Dover Street Market London.
