When it comes to choosing a new watch, I look for something minimal, well-built, classic and versatile. the Pioneer Chronograph watch designed by Jakob Wagner for Nordgreen ticks all of those boxes.
Nordgreen are based in Copenhagen and specialises in finely crafted watches inspired by minimal Scandanavian design.
Like all watches in the Nordgreen range, the Pioneer can be selected in your own choice of face colour and strap material. You can choose from coloured face dials or opt for a classic white like me. Then to complement it, choose a strap that best fits your needs. I find a mesh strap perfect as it looks elegant but it can also be worn casually.
I love the attention to detail on this watch and the addition of the stopwatch function and sub-dials whilst it maintains an uncluttered and clean look.
The Pioneer is powered by a Japanese quartz movement and is topped by a domed sapphire glass face for durability and depth.
Priced from £219, you can shop the Nordgreen Pioneer watch here.
