I’ve been following Shura for quite a while now, ever since I found one of her EP’s on Deezer in fact about a year ago. Her signature 80’s inspired soft vocal and synthy sound made Shura an instant favourite of mine.
I was lucky enough to catch her live as she supported CHVRCHES on their recent UK gigs in London and Glasgow and took the opportunity to perform some of the new tracks from her debut album, ‘Nothing’s Real’ which will finally be released on the 8th of July.
‘What’s It Gonna Be?’ is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming album and Shura told Annie Mac on Radio 1 recently that it is about fancying someone and maybe having a kind of connection then realising that it’s probably not gonna happen. Bummer!
