Fresh from his 3 night residency at Pacha in Ibiza, Calvin Harris has teamed up with 4 time Grammy winner Sam Smith for his latest release. The new track is called ‘Promises’, and it’s probably my favourite track from the Harris hit factory in a long time!
‘Promises’ was written by Harris, Smith and Jessie Reyez, who also provides backing vocals and wrote his last single, ‘One Kiss’ with Dua Lipa. The super catchy bassline goes seamlessly with Sam Smiths dreamy vocals. This track has all the makings of a massive summertime smash so I only wish it was realised a little bit earlier in the season, but with summer coming to a close it’s a nice way to cling onto it for as long as we can!
