Nike Lunarglide 6

Nike Lunarglide 6

The recent selection of new running shoes are doing absolutely nothing to ease my obsession.  My personal collection continues to swell in size as I welcome the Nike Lunarglide 6 to join the ranks this week.  Essentially a long distance running shoe but a damn good-looking one at that.  The Lunarglide 6 has been released in a variety of colour ways and special editions already.

At the heart of this running shoe is the advanced cushioning system designed to provide stability, support, and style.  The result is a perfectly balanced pair of lightweight trainers ideally suited to long distance runs on hard surfaces in particular.  The upper too aides air circulation and breathability with its mesh like construction that continues onto the tongue.

A lot of Nike’s focus of late on new technology has been on moulding sole units that better react and conform to the way the foot moves and reacts to running, we saw a complete change of design in the flyknit and the introduction of the hexagonal map for example.  This time around the  key was to mimic the way a runners foot moves from impact with the ground through to take off.

Dynamic Support stability is noticeable to the rear and around the ankle cushion.  Unlike with some recent Nike releases which are less structured, the Lunarglide 6 includes has an obvious foam support system for the ankle.

Available now from priced from £95
