Parks and Recreation has been providing quotes and giggles to our American cousins as well as picking up a healthy stack of awards for 5 seasons now. Last night BBC4 finally gave this comedy its debut for British audiences. Parks and Recreation is set in small town Pawnee, Indiana uses the same ‘mockumentary’ style as The Office in giving us an insight into the world of local Government.
I watched with slight dubiety if Parks and Recreation would live up to its hype, especially as it is slightly hidden away on BBC4 and has taken to long to arrive on our shores.
