I really, really miss travelling. It may sound small in the grand scheme of things but I really can’t wait to be able to (hopefully) travel safely again later this year.
While we have all been locked down for much of the past year, P&O Cruises have been pressing ahead with their exciting expansion plans and have just announced that their second LNG-powered Excel class ship is to be named Arvia.
Arvia, meaning “from the seashore” will be the sister ship to their new flagship Iona and she will join the fleet in 2022.
The name of the 184,700 tonnes ship was unveiled through a video reveal made up of outlining the letters in the name in various different locations, all relating to the beach and the seashore.
Holidays on Arvia will go on sale in March and further details of the ship, its design and experiences onboard will be released over the coming months.
