The past few years have been a rather exciting time for P&O Cruises. They’ve been working hard to modernise their fleet, their image and their offering at sea and having had the pleasure of sailing with them I can safely say that they are doing a great job.
A few years back, I’d never have considered a holiday at sea but my view has completely switched now and P&O Cruises are right at the top of my holiday wishlist!
This spring will see the launch of the brand new P&O Cruises ship IONA – the largest and most advanced ever built for the British market – and to mark the unveiling the brand have just this announced Gary Barlow as their new brand ambassador.
Gary will take the role of musical director of The 710 Club on Iona, an intimate new music bar that they’ve billed the most exciting live music venue at sea.
The 710 Club will showcase an eclectic range of performances, curated to appeal to British music lovers. Fundamental to the billing at The 710 Club will be a regular opportunity for up and coming musicians to get their big break.
Gary will also perform at Iona’s naming celebration which kicks off IonaFest, the UK’s most exciting new floating festival which is a seven-night cruise to the Norwegian Fjords from Southampton on July 4, 2020.
You can catch Gary performing onboard Iona on cruise G018 departing Southampton on 29 August for the Norwegian Fjords and G025 departing Southampton on 31 October for Spain and Portugal.
