Skyfall – The Return of Daniel Craig as Agent 007 James Bond

Skyfall shall this month see Daniel Craig return as James Bond in what is the 50th anniversary outing for Agent 007.

After its disappointing predecessor Quantum of Solice, the early reviews of Skyfall seem to be favourable hailing Daniel Craig’s performance and claiming this could be the best Bond.  All the classic 007 elements like girls, gadgets and lots of stunts are in abundance in fact the opening scene is a large-scale action scene which is sure to grip the viewer the word go.

Adele has been chosen to provide the title track of Skyfall if you have heard it yet you will know this is very much a perfect Bond theme song.  Recent attempts by Alicia Keys and Jack Black have been instantly forgettable but this is an absolute corker which I am sure will sit alongside the great instrumental like Diamonds Are Forever.  This is a sultry, mysterious and moody track that encapsulates everything that James Bond is about.

UK film fans can catch the latest installment in the series at cinemas from 26th October however US fans will have to wait until 9th November to make up their own minds if Bond is back to his best.
