Well now, you can get up close and personal with some of her creations for the first time at You, Me and the Balloons at the newly opened Avivas Studios, Manchester.

Kusama is renowned for her largescale, hallucinatory style of painting sculpture and immersive works. At Avivas Studios you can take a journey through some of her creations including giant dolls, spectacular tendrilled landscapes and a vast constellation of polka-dot spheres.
