Spencer Hart unveil their SS15 Palm Springs Collection

Last week Spencer Hart, the premium menswear designer took control of the E WOW suite in the W Hotel in London converting it into the exclusive Spencer Hart suite. The pop-up experience offered an preview look at the SS15 Palm Springs collection.  Also on hand to offer a unique personal shopping opportunity was Nick Hart, the brand’s founder.

The new SS15 collection was inspired by the desert city of Palm Springs in particular the vibe there in the 1950’s and 60’s.  Think of the ideal lifestyle surrounded by sunshine playing golf or tennis. The collection encapsulates the attitude and style of the Hollywood icons that visited at this time to live the good life by their own rules – Frank Sinatra, Charlie Farrell, Tony Curtis and Jack Nicholson.

Fabrics have been specifically chosen for their crisp, sharp and tailored look that are the same time casual and comfortable.  The kind of fabrics that cross from daytime to evening wtih a seamless transition should those afternoons by the pool stretch on into the night.  Colour is prominent too with reds, blues and whites jumping out as a base for the range.  The Spencer Hart classic shirts and polos are joined by swimwear and casual footwear for the first time too.

Nick Hart, Creative Director of Spencer Hart, said of the collaboration: “There is a very clear connection between Palm Springs and Savile Row and that’s a meticulous attention to detail in the quest to create something of clean, bright beauty”
