If you’re still not sure what you’d like the big man to bring you on December 25th, I’ve drawn up a quick list of 5 items that I’m lusting after this year to give you some last-minute inspiration!

In all honesty, and as cheesy as it sounds I’d be more than happy with a big bag of Dairy Milk chocolates in my stocking this year, but if I were to be extra spoiled, these are a few things that I would absolutely delighted to receive…

Maison Francis Kurkdjian The Fragrance Wardrobe

Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrances are the epitome of luxury and the Fragrance Wardrobe for me is the perfect way to experience 8 of their signature scents in 11ml sample bottles.

The Fragrance Wardrobe for him features some fantastic day and evening scents including a personal favourite – Aqua Universalis.

If you don’t know what type of scent your loved one likes, then a discovery set like this one is the ideal gift.

Nike React Infinity Runners

After a pretty poor year of fitness, I’m really looking forward to getting right back up to speed in 2021. I know it sounds like quite the cliche, but I’m determined that I’m going to make a big chance.

To inspire me further, I’ve got my eye on the Nike Reach Infinity Running shoes in black and white. I already have a pair of these sneakers in a different colourway and they have served me well for ages and many miles now so I think that I’m long due an upgrade.

Oli Frape Wall Art

All of the extra time spent at home this past year has really made me realise the importance of investing in your home space. I’d maybe have prioritised something else before (mainly travel), but my mindset has now changed. I want to be surrounded by a few nice things to make my WFH days that bit brighter.

I was introduced to Oli Frape by my mates Lucie and James a few months ago and his cool and colourful prints really caught my eye. In particular, his ‘Unity’ Riso Print in red, white and blue and I just know that it would look great on the wall in the hallway.

Houseplants…of any kind…or any size!

On much the same theme as the previous entry, this was the year that I become utterly obsessed with houseplants. Being at home most days has meant that I’ve really seen how they move, grow and change and I’ve enjoyed it.

I find potting and looking after then pretty relaxing and it’s something that I will definitely continue into the coming years. I’m still quite a novice on proper plant care but I do enjoy researching the different types and what works best for them.

With that in mind, anything of the green variety would be a great gift to receive.

I’m not sure what odds the likes of Bet365 would give on me keeping them alive but I still enjoy trying!

Bloombox has a great selection of plants available via mail. They even have a subscription service.

Aberlour 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

I’m finishing up my wishlist with the Aberlour 12-year-old whisky. I’d be pretty delighted with the gift of any (non-peated) whisky to be honest but this Speyside single malt is a particular favourite at the moment.

It’s a deliciously smooth and sweet malt whisky and a great one to try if you’re new to the world of Scotch whisky as it’s very drinkable. The bottle looks great on the shelf too.
