2014 Range Rover Sport unveiled by James Bond

The 2014 edition Range Rover Sport was unveiled today in New York City, with a little help from James Bond.  The updated model is being billed by Land Rover as ‘the fastest, most agile and responsive’ vehicle they have ever built.  Daniel Craig styled as his 007 characters drove the 2014 Range Rover Sport from a Brooklyn shipping yard to site of the New York Auto Show.

At just 191 inches long the new Sport is shorter than many sedans and only 2.5 inches longer than the previous model.  The 510hp V8 5 litre supercharged engine offers 0-60 in just 5 seconds and the 340hp V6 hits the mark in 6.9 seconds.

Four versions will be available when the 2014 Range Rover Sport launches in October this year starting from £42,000.
