3 pairs of clean white sneakers for Autumn that won’t break the bank

There is nothing like a pair of boxfresh white sneakers to compliment your outfit.  They always work perfectly to top it off no matter what the time of the year or the occasion and being a self-proclaimed sneakerhead myself I get particularly excited whenever I treat myself to a new pair.

At the moment the trend in ultra premium sneakers has led to a whole host of old and new brands and labels releasing some insanely expensive styles.  These are great and I’m not knocking them or anyone who invests in them but for me personally, I’d sooner snap up a few pairs of slightly less inexpensive sneaks and wear them on rotation than throwing all of my pounds into the one pair of Common Projects or similar.

I’ve rounded up a few of my favourite clean white styles that are currently available on asos and all for around £100…

First up are the most expensive pair and my favourites at the moment.  The adidas Originals Stan Smith Lea Sock Trainers in white which are priced at £110.  These may seem a little pricey compared with regular Stan Smiths (which are always great too) but the premium gained leather looks fantastic, particularly with a smarter, tailored look.

If you prefer something a little more casual but from a non sports brand then the Selected Homme trainer with contrast sole is a great option too.  I always find the areas around the sole are the first to get dirty looking so the darker sole makes it easier to keep them looking clean for longer.  These are super comfy too and are priced at £90 on asos.

Lastly, I’ve picked out the classic white Puma Basket Trainers.  These are a style that almost everyone has had at one point in their lives but the longevity that they maintain is testament to their timeless design.   I’ve always found the Puma Basket to be a really hard-wearing sneaker so they are great for wearing on nights out as they can normally withhold being trodden.  At £65 they are the bargain style from the list too.

If you’re quick the you can benefit from the current 15% off code that is live on asos (valid 31st October 2018 only). Simply use SCREAM15 at the checkout for 15% off your order!

Don’t forget to give treat your new shoes with a leather spray before you wear them as it really does make a difference in the long run and keeps them looking fresher for far longer.  I normally just pick up a can from the supermarket for a few quid and that is enough to treat a few pairs of shoes.  Remember to re-apply if you give them a clean or spruce up as you will be washing some of the protector off as well as the dirt!
