Glenfiddich’s Limited-Edition Lunar New Year Design by Raku Inoue

As the Lunar New Year approaches on February 10, 2024, Glenfiddich has joined forces with renowned artist Raku Inoue to present a collection of limited-edition gifts, symbolising hope and the promise of new beginnings. Celebrating the Year of the Wood Dragon, the Glenfiddich Lunar New Year 2024 pack is a stunning creation inspired by nature’s splendour and Raku’s artistic mastery.

Born in Japan and now based in Canada, Raku Inoue’s artistic journey encompasses drawing, handcrafting, and photography. His affinity for organic materials, such as flowers and leaves, is evident in his signature style, and he brings this unique perspective to Glenfiddich’s Lunar New Year limited editions.

The collaboration between Glenfiddich and Raku Inoue features the iconic Glenfiddich Stag intertwined with the mythical Wood Dragon, capturing the essence of leadership and growth. The limited-edition series includes the Reserva Rum Cask 21 Year Old pack, showcasing Glenfiddich’s commitment to authentic and superior quality whiskies. This aged whisky, finished in Caribbean rum-soaked casks, unveils spicy warmth, indulgent vanilla, and toffee sweet notes, earning it multiple “Double Gold” awards.

“A Gift for Blossoming Futures” extends beyond the Reserva Rum Cask 21, encompassing the core range of Glenfiddich whiskies – the 12, 12 Sherry Cask Finish, 15, and 18 Year Old variants. Each gift pack contains a bottle and whisky-nosing glasses, making them perfect for sharing the joy of the Lunar New Year with friends and family.

Available from December 2023 at premium whisky and spirits stores, “A Gift for Blossoming Futures” is a captivating tribute to the mythical Wood Dragon, a creature symbolising auspicious growth and a future in full bloom. Toast to new beginnings and elevate your Lunar New Year celebrations with the artistry and craftsmanship of Glenfiddich and Raku Inoue.

The Limited Edition, Lunar New Year Design is available online and in-store at Selfridges.
