When it comes to iconic British clothing brands they don’t come much more prestigious than Barbour. The company started originally as a producer of oilskin clothing for fisherman in the north of England.
Not before long Barbour evolved into motorcycle clothing in 1936. The first custom biker jacket they produced was a dark green waxed cotton jacket was quickly christened the ‘International’ and heralded the beginning of a style icon that is style one of the most popular men’s jackets this very day.
To celebrate the rich heritage of Barbour International, Jocks&Nerds magazine, the quarterly London-based men’s style and culture publication have produced a cracking short film. which tells the story of a couple of real-life Barbour and motorcycle fans.
The film introduces Max Brody and his wife Meriem, a cool looking professional couple who have a passion for motorbikes. We watch them bike their way around London, taking in sites like the neon paradise that is ‘God’s Own Junkyard’ while decked out in Barbour International of course!
