As much as I hate to admit it AW14 is just around the corner. I am definitely more of a spring-summer type of person as heart but one thing I do love about Autumn is the shift towards tailoring and a more structured look. Ben Sherman has kicked off their AW14 collection by shooting model Louis Simonon with a push towards the original button-up shirts.
“Buttoning up the top button of your shirt is something that’s been done to Ben Sherman shirts since 1963. It is a deliberate style choice that exudes ‘Britishness’ and personal pride. It’s also an integral part of British style culture. Ben Sherman visually acknowledges this style decision with its brand new campaign – The Original Button Up Since 1963.” – Mark Maidment, CEO.
Do you always button up? You can get involved with the campaign and possibly win the Ben Sherman shirt of the week for your troubles. All you need to do is follow @aheritageofmodernism on Instagram, upload a photo of you ‘buttoned up’ including the#buttonup hashtag and @ahertitageofmodernism. Lastly, answer the question ‘why do you button up?’.
