Beyoncé is launching a whisky brand: SirDavis

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has partnered with luxury beverage giant Moët Hennessy to introduce SirDavis, a revolutionary new American whisky. Named in honour of Beyoncé’s great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a moonshiner during Prohibition, SirDavis merges heritage with innovation in a way that only Beyoncé can deliver.

Crafted with the expertise of Dr. Bill Lumsden, a renowned Master Distiller, SirDavis features a unique mash bill of 51% rye and 49% malted barley, creating a whisky that blends the elegance of Japanese and Scotch styles with the boldness of American rye. This whisky not only reflects Beyoncé’s personal connection to her family’s history but also challenges the norms of the whisky category.

Beyoncé’s involvement goes beyond the liquid itself; she also lent her artistic vision to the bottle’s design, which features ribbed glass and a regal bronzed horse medallion, symbolising strength and her Texas roots.

SirDavis is already making waves, having won prestigious awards, including Best In Class for American Whiskey at the 2023 SIP Awards. With its debut set for September 2024 in the U.S. and select international locations, SirDavis is poised to become a must-have for whsky aficionados and Beyoncé fans alike.

Retailing at £79, SirDavis is now available for pre-order, promising a new legacy in the world of American whisky.
