Undeniably one of the most exciting artists to breakthrough from the recent house revival, New York-based producer and multi-instrumentalist, Chris Malinchak, returns with his second single ‘If U Got It’, set for UK release January 12th on Relentless Records.
Much like ‘So Good To Me’, ‘If U Got It’ sees Malinchak explore a feel-good house aesthetic, laced with soulful energy and brimming with optimism throughout. A smooth, intrinsic bassline and addictive keys played by the classically trained musician form the perfect foundation for a vocal croon to float seductively over the top. Lush and emotive in every aspect, ‘If U Got It’ has its roots in a danceable genre but sounds just as good in headphones as it does on the floor.
Aired to the world via his live set at Radio 1 in Ibiza (which ended in a live piano session from Malinchak), ‘If U Got It’ has also been made ‘Essential New Tune’ by Pete Tong – a seal of approval and indicator that the single is set to become another iconic moment for this rising talent.
