Champion has announced a long term partnership with undefeated heavyweight boxer Agit Kabayel, further strengthening its position in global combat sports and deepening its presence in Germany. With a perfect 26 and 0 record and the WBC Interim Heavyweight Championship, Kabayel is widely seen as the next defining force in heavyweight boxing.
Born in Kurdistan and raised in Bochum, Kabayel represents a new generation of heavyweights shaped by discipline, pressure and ruthless efficiency. After years as an underdog, he has spent the last 18 months building serious momentum on the Riyadh Season stage, breaking down elite opponents and reigniting mainstream interest in heavyweight boxing across the DACH region.
The partnership lands ahead of Kabayel’s next fight on 10 January at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen, which sold out its 12,000 plus capacity in just two days. Under the agreement, Champion becomes his exclusive sportswear and fashion partner, designing his fight shorts, walkout robe, fight week looks and a bespoke leather jacket for fight night.
Kabayel now joins Champion’s growing combat sports roster alongside Tom Aspinall, Katie Taylor and Tiah May Ayton, signalling the brand’s long term ambition to lead in boxing and MMA through athletes defined by resilience, credibility and hard work.
