If you’re not familiar with the various ‘strengths’ of perfume, Parfum is the strongest and as it contains the highest concentrate of fragrance followed by Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne and lastly Eau Fraiche. The higher the concentrate of fragrance, the better the longevity of the scent, so one spray of Parfum should last you all day.
Of course, the base notes of the Blue de Chanel Parfum will be the same as the EDT and EDP but the composition has been reworked slightly to offer an even more luxurious and longer lasting fragrance. The perfumer Oliver Page was enlisted to create the new Parfum which has an accord of Sandalwood that gives a more powerful finish.
Bleu de Chanel Parfum will launch on chanel.com in the UK on June 1st.
