FAC51 The Hacienda Returns to WHP Manchester

This November, Manchester is throwing it back to one of its most important cultural exports – The Hacienda. On Saturday 22nd November 2025, FAC51 The Hacienda takes over Depot Mayfield for a full-scale WHP night that celebrates the club that changed the city forever.

The Line-Up

The bill is stacked with legends. Primal Scream headline live, while Masters at Work, Groove Armada (DJ set), David Morales, Derrick Carter, Todd Terry, plus original Hacienda residents Mike Pickering and Graeme Park, keep the spirit alive across five rooms. Expect energy, heritage and some of the best selectors in the game.

From FAC to WHP

For the uninitiated, The Hacienda (FAC51) wasn’t just a nightclub – it was the nucleus of Manchester’s 80s and 90s nightlife. Acid house, Madchester, the rise of rave culture – it all pulsed through those walls. Even after its closure, the legacy has lived on, influencing everything from indie bands to today’s DJs.

WHP at Depot Mayfield feels like the perfect modern stage for it. The industrial backdrop mirrors the raw, sweat-soaked atmosphere of the original club, but on a 21st-century scale.

Manchester’s Dance DNA

The 90s scene in Manchester wasn’t just about music, it was a cultural reset. Nights at The Hacienda brought together indie kids, ravers and misfits, all chasing the same euphoria. That legacy is still baked into Manchester’s DNA, and nights like this remind you why the city’s place in dance music history will never fade.

Hacienda at WHP isn’t just a nostalgia trip, it’s a bridge between eras. The line-up nods to the pioneers while giving a new generation the chance to experience the buzz. If you care about dance music culture, this is one for the calendar.
