After a highly successful 2019 season, last night the curtain came down on Glitterbox Ibiza’s summer run at Hi Ibiza.
Glitterbox began life in 2014 as a spin-off night of Simon Dunmore’s ever-popular Defected Ibiza but has now grown to be one of the most popular nights on the summer calendar in its own right.
If like me, you never got to experience the thrill of Studio 54 in New York then Glitterbox Ibiza might just be the next best thing!
I had the pleasure of checking it out in Ibiza just a few weeks ago and as I walked through the entrance of the Theatre at Hi I instantly knew that I was in for one of the best nights of my life.
If like me your thing is uplifting, disco led house music then Glitterbox is the place for you.
Alongside the likes of Purple Disco Machine, The Shapeshifters, Joey Negro and Horse Meat Disco you can expect amazing dancers, performers and drag queens under a sky of twirling disco balls.
Gliterbox Ibiza may have wrapped for the year but you’ll still have plenty of opportunities to get your disco on either at the monthly Ministry of Sound residency in London or at the special events across the country which will kick off in Glasgow and Leeds on October 26th.
Tickets and the full list of Glitterbox UK events can be found here.
