Classic cocktails are classics for a reason. They’re timelessly tasty but what happens when you take a classic and play around with the rules? Well, for those brave enough to break the rules, great things like the Haig Club Espresso Martini are born!
The Espresso Martini is a fairly easy to make, yet impressive looking cocktail so it’s the perfect drink to show off to your mates via zoom or in-person (if you’re lucky) over the holiday season.
How to make the Haig Club Espresso Martini:
Take 25ml Haig Club Clubman, 25ml crème de cacao, 25ml Espresso, Squeeze of Honey, ice, 3 Coffee Beans for the garnish and a cocktail shaker, a strainer, a martini glass and a measure.
Start by filling your shaker with ice before adding all of the ingredients and shaking it up vigorously. Strain the drink into your martini glass and garnish to serve.
It’s that easy which is exactly why I love this cocktail. It only takes a couple of minutes to throw together and you’re ready to raise a toast!
