Next week sees the launch of the latest collaboration between Kenzo and Vans and it’s a very floral affair.
The hero pieces of the collab are Vans Sk80-Hi and Old-Skool sneakers in 3 colourful floral prints. To sit alongside the sneakers, there’s a 46 piece clothing collection and a skateboard in partnership with The Skateroom.
The tie in with Vans is the first time that Oliveira Baptisa, the new Creative Director at Kenzo has partnered with another brand since he took over loast year.
The Kenzo x Vans collection will be available at select stores from June 17th, including the Kenzo store at Hudson Yards in New York City and Beverly Center in Los Angeles.
The limited-edition skateboard will be available exclusively at the Kenzo Beverly Center store in LA and online. The entirety of the profits form its sale will be donated to a social skate project in Jamaica created to help and empower at-risk youth.
