‘Label Love’ is a new strand where we will be sharing with you some of the up and coming labels that we love. Simple eh? The first of such labels is ‘I Sunk Your Battleship’.
So who are they? Well, ‘I Sunk Your Battleship’ is a new kid on the streetwear block who aim to champion the underdog (their words not mine). Based in Newcastle the brand had searched long and hard to find some tip-top materials to produce their range of seafaring inspired t-shirts, hoodies, hats and accessories.
I got my hands on a couple of items from the collection to check out the fit and quality. Unfortunately a lot of these online labels that are popping up look the part but skimp on production meaning when the product arrives at your door it looks like something from a market stall. Thankfully this was not the case. Being a rather big fan of the grey hoody, I opted to try the light grey ‘No Hope Zipper hoody’ and was pretty impressed by the super-soft jersey material.
The final big positive point for me is that the ‘I Sunk Your Battleship’ clobber is ‘built-in Britain’. A quality mark that we don’t see often enough these days, unfortunately.
